Charged took a fresh look at Subway's "Eat Fresh" slogan and gave it an animated style that brought home the message with a new twist. The success of the campaign prompted Subway to create an entire Internet campaign and re-design their website around the characters we created.
Adam Pierce directed, produced and animated the spots using classic clay modeling to creating Lenny – who at first glance appears to be the crudely formed monster that should be feared. Adam's animation gave Lenny an emotional sincerity to share his understanding about the importance of eating fresh. The unexpected contrast compels viewers to hang on to his every word. Lenny cares about you and he wants you to eat fresh.
